Paper4trees was first introduced to the Hawkes Bay Region in 2007.

Since then, we have signed up a total of 160 schools and preschools!
That is the equivalent to 78% of all Hawkes Bay schools and 31% of all Hawkes Bay preschools.
 

Between 2007 and 2020, Hawkes Bay schools and preschools have:

• Diverted 4,113 tonnes of paper and cardboard from landfill
               - That's around the same as 1,152 elephants!

• Saved 32,907 cubic metres of landfill space

• Prevented 4,113 tonnes of carbon dioxide from being created in landfill
