Taranaki
Paper4trees was first introduced to the Taranaki Region in 2008.
Since then, we have signed up a total of 115 schools and preschools!
That is the equivalent to 98% of all Taranaki schools and 25% of all Taranaki preschools.
Between 2008 and 2020, Taranaki schools and preschools have:
-
Diverted 2,576 tonnes of paper and cardboard from landfill
- That's around the same as 550 elephants! -
Saved 20,614 cubic metres of landfill space
-
Prevented 13,914 tonnes of carbon dioxide from being created in landfill
Isn't this an amazing effort? We think so, which is why we have rewarded Taranaki schools and preschools with a total of...
10,236 native trees! to plant in their school grounds or within their local community.
