Paper4trees was first introduced to the Taranaki Region in 2008.

Since then, we have signed up a total of 121 schools and preschools!
That is the equivalent to 92% of all Taranaki schools and 31% of all Taranaki preschools.
 

Between 2008 and 2023, Taranaki schools and preschools have:

• Diverted 3,897 tonnes of paper and cardboard from landfill
               - That's around the same as 832 elephants!

• Saved 31,177 cubic metres of landfill space

• Prevented 31,044 tonnes of carbon dioxide from being created in landfill
