Gisborne
Paper4trees was first introduced to the Gisborne Region in 2007.
Since then, we have signed up a total of 42 schools and preschools!
That is the equivalent to 64% of all Gisborne schools and 12% of preschools.
Between 2007 and 2025, Gisborne schools and preschools have:

-
Diverted 2,200 tonnes of paper and cardboard from landfill
- That's around the same as 470 elephants! -
Saved 17,600 cubic metres of landfill space
-
Prevented 11,880 tonnes of carbon dioxide from being created in landfill
Isn't this an amazing effort? We think so, which is why we have rewarded Gisborne schools and preschools with a total of...
8,755 native trees! to plant in their school grounds or within their local community.
