Bay of Plenty
Paper4trees was first introduced to the Bay of Plenty Region in 2001.
Since then, we have signed up a total of 336 schools and preschools!
That is the equivalent to 87% of all Bay of Plenty schools and 53% of all Bay of Plenty preschools.
Between 2007 and 2025, Bay of Plenty schools and preschools have:
-
Diverted 14,233 tonnes of paper and cardboard from landfill
- That's around the same as 3,041 elephants! -
Saved 113,885 cubic metres of landfill space
-
Prevented 76,871 tonnes of carbon dioxide from being created in landfill
Isn't this an amazing effort? We think so, which is why we have rewarded Bay of Plenty schools and preschools with a total of...
51,493 native trees! to plant in their school grounds or within their local community.
