Paper4trees was first introduced to the Auckland Region in 2007.

Since then, a total of 1,332 schools and preschools have joined Paper4trees!
That is the equivalent to 88% of all Auckland schools and 90% of all Auckland preschools.
 

Between 2007 and 2019, Auckland schools and preschools have:

• Diverted 13,514 tonnes of paper and cardboard from landfill
               - That's around the same as 2,478 elephants!

• Saved 108,130 cubic metres of landfill space

• Prevented 72,888 tonnes of carbon dioxide from being created in landfill
